Marmorino is an opulent wall finish, which has been used for thousands of years.

Slaked lime, marble dust and natural pigments are combined to create an infinite range of colours and textures. It is a totally natural product, ideal for heritage or eco projects, yet equally perfect in a contemporary setting.

 Natural earths or oxides are used to pigment the stucco. Other additions are mica, coloured marble dust or cocciopesto (brick dust). The final surface is then treated with soap, beeswax, potassium silicate or siloxane sealer.

The reflection of light on a lime plaster surface gives translucence which is vastly different to that from cement-based materials.
